About the Pastor
Reverend Henry H. Wright Jr., son of the late Rev., Henry H. Wright, Sr. and the late Mrs. Jerusha M.
Wright, has one sister, Marschia A. Rose of Atlanta, Georgia. She has two children, Destiny & Isaiah. He is married to Hope Wright. Together they have seven children; Houston,
Nicole, Toya, Clarnice, Chalonda, Clarence, Demetrius, and 11 grandchildren.
Reverend Wright graduated from Oklahoma Baptist University with a BA Degree in Health. Reverend Wright has preached at the Georgia State Convention in 1996; and the Florida General Baptist Convention in 1999, 2001 and 2009. He has been preaching for 28 years. Twenty-two of those years were in Georgia and Florida. He founded and organized the New Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in 2003. He is presently the Devotion Leader for the Florida General Baptist Convention Moderators Division: Moderator Bolden, President James B. Sampson. He is the former First Vice Moderator of the Union St. James Baptist Association. Pastor Wright enjoys family time, walking, watching movies, football, basketball, riding bikes, reading books and theme parks. |
